79 Ferry Road, Kettering Open 7 days – 7am-3pm Winter Trading Hours

Not only is The Gateway a great coffee and lunch stop, it is a great place to get information before you head over to Bruny Island. Officially the Tourism Information Centre for the island, they can facilitate tour bookings, advise you on places to stay and places to visit.

Whether you’re in a rush for a caffeine fix, or looking to have a relaxed lunch with beautiful seaside views, The Gateway Cafe has got you covered and is the perfect opportunity to have a bite or coffee prior to boarding the Ferry.

Treat your friends and family to a memorable Bruny gift on your way back from Bruny Island. Including branded apparel, mugs, stubby holders and a large range of Tasmanian goodies.

While waiting for ferry, had a surprisingly excellent coffee and brilliant feta/spinach pastries. Pastry was sublime. Great location on the wharf with great views over the Harbour. Also, carried a decent range of tourist memorabilia and trinkets.
