Situated in Lunawanna, this self contained, self catering villa is fitted out with a gourmet kitchen, HD LCD DVD TV, iPod dock and private Laundry facilities. Sleeping up to 4 people the Villa is ideal for 1 or 2 Couples. All you need are your eats and drinks, then enjoy.

The Explorers Cottages accommodation provides 3½ star comfort and has won awards in the 2007, 2008 & 2009 Tasmanian Tourism Awards.

Getting There

The Villa is located at 20 Lighthouse Road, Lunawanna which is on South Bruny Island, Tasmania (map).

Bruny Island is accessed by a vehicular ferry which departs from Kettering (30 minutes south of Hobart). The scenic ferry ride takes approximately 15 minutes. From there, follow the main road to the south of Bruny Island (a picturesque 45 minute drive) to the township of Lunawanna. Once at Lunawanna, you will see the signs to "Explorers' Cottages" located on Lighthouse Road, on route to the famous Bruny Island Lighthouse and South Bruny National Park.
