David and Rachel Gunton, along with sons Max & Rufus are the owner/operators of your accommodation.

Boasting the largest self-contained accommodation providers on Bruny Island, they are dedicated to assisting your journey on their majestic island. Winners at the Tasmanian Tourism Awards in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010 & 2011, they take pride in the high standard of their business.

David spent many years owning and operating Hotels, Restaurants and major tourism attractions within Tasmania. His high paced, long day lifestyle was enriched by moving to Bruny Island where he now balances a perfect island working life with local, regional and statewide tourism committee roles.

Rachel having a degree in Fine Arts appreciates the natural beauty of Bruny Island, and values the ease at which work and family combine. One of her current projects is propagating native plants and trees to provide wildlife pathways for Bruny Island’s many rare bird species.

Maxwell Gunton, well he is just beautiful. Since learning to walk he enjoys his stick collecting and leaf raking chores while taking a lot of time out to learn about his amazing natural environment.
